Timeless

Adventuring through twisted time.

And so, while most the world feared anger and avoided it like the plague Luna embraced it. She understood it and found it was now time for others to do the same…

“There are rogues in the outskirts of Thistle!!”

“Thistle can handle itself.”

“The rogues are looking for us...”

It had been a while since Spade and her pack had left the safety of Nowhere. After everything, they’d been through they needed the break. But now they all felt like they just should’ve stayed in Nowhere. Without the Zeta present and practically missing from the seen the wolves had lost a bit of their structure. They grew bold going into places they shouldn’t. Doing things that made them less respectable. Forgetting that Spade was strict and merciless when necessary. It was passed necessary.

Spade and her pack had been travelling around cleaning up the mess of other wolves. Trying to fix their reputation. And ultimately getting the wolves back in line. Personally, Spade hated her using her Zeta powers over other wolves. Even now she’d avoid it unless needed to save a life. But with her refusal to use her influence over other wolves sparked a rebellion. And so, suddenly Spade found herself in Europe roping up the last of the rogues of this rebellion. Showing mercy when it was deserved but rarely having to. Unfortunately.

Everything was moving quite fast in the outskirts of Thistle. Spade and her pack we’re working quickly to euthanize the situation before Kyan or any other Fae got involved. She’d never met the Fae King and quite frankly, from the stories she'd heard she was good. She'd rather not meet him this way. She’d done a great job this far keeping peace with the king from afar. She'd keep doing everything she could to keep it that way. It was mutual respect. Six...four...three...one wolf left and Spade had dismissed her crew. This last one was already injured.

Now despite being furious Spade had somehow managed to convince three of the six wolves to re-join her. Make peace and move on. That was a big step for Spade. In the past, she’d had just slaughtered them all. This last one was giving her a hard time. Hurt himself trying to escape Spade as she was trying to just talk to him. He was desperate and panicked and that for anyone wasn’t a good combination. For a wolf, it was worse with their natural aggression. She knew she needed to catch him quick before he did something everyone would regret.

She'd chased him far and away from Thistle. Though they were still in the forest. In a flash, she zoomed by what seemed to be a fair-haired Fae. She didn’t stop but just looked back for the quickest second to confirm what she believed. A Fae this far away from home? That was highly unheard of unless of course, you were her adopted sister. Selina. She shot a sharp breath from her nose as she refocused on the task at hand. And suddenly, she found herself coming to a sliding stop. The rogue wolf had stopped to face her. The wild look in his eyes told her this was going to be a fight.

“Now look! I’m not trying to hurt you! Let’s talk this out!”

Maybe she shouldn’t of said it so maliciously.
And so, the rogue attacked. Instead of fighting though Spade simply moved out of the way. This wolf was young. He didn’t deserve to die. She didn’t want to kill him. In a flash, she saw Aqua now in this unhinged wolf’s path. Spade and the rogue were both in their human forms still. However, it didn’t mean they couldn’t do harm. Spade's eyes went wide as a serious of unfortunate events played out in her head in a matter of seconds if she didn’t stop this wolf from reaching her. Everything happened as fast as lightning in a bottle. Spade's eyes flashed Gold, a completely unique color to her as the Zeta. She wrapped her arms around his neck and stopped him from moving. Using her hip and knocking his feet out from under she managed to flip him over herself and slam him into the ground. There was a harsh thud and seconds later she checking his pulse.

He was alive. Just unconscious. Though with the fact that there was blood all over Spade and dead wolves all over the forest that her pack was slowly tracking back down and removing this for sure looked bad. To further this incriminating image Spade very clearly looked like a gypsy. Her clothes. The dust from Nowhere permanently stuck on her and typically permanently staining her boots and gypsies had a bad reputation as it was. She took a deep breath. Glancing at Aqua quickly before she sent out a howl as an invisible flare for her pack to come to get the unconscious wolf. Maybe time with them will ease him away from his roguishness.

One sniff she knew she was related to the king somehow. The scent of him was also hers. One look she could confirm she was Fae.

“Far from home are we not?”

She stood and faced the fair-haired Fae. Spade could never help how angry she always seemed. Her voice almost always aggressive and her eyes always held a very eminent fire that NEVER went out.

Spade wasn't usually friendly. So being about questioned about whether someone else should tell a king or anyone really about her goings-on wasn't welcome. She scoffed faintly at Aqua's words. Not to be rude she'd have growled and done much more if she was trying to be. But rather she found this Fae amusing. Her innocence, unsettling.

"Like I said. You're a long way from home..."

Spade's eyes faintly shifted from Aqua to right behind her. The shift in her line of sight subtle. From above Aqua's head came a towel that flew towards Spade. She wiped herself clean after catching it looking back at the rogue wolf she had taken out. Some members of her pack and most importantly her family silently walking passed Aqua from the trees.

They picked up the rogue gently "He's alive." She told the young Fae to set her at ease. Spade could hear Aqua's heart pounding in her chest. She took Aqua hand and placed her fingers under the rogue's nose for her to feel his faint breath as her pack members carried him off. "Okay, well... That remains to be seen." She was honest and from that honest came a faint shake of her head and a shrug.

"You travelled so far you didn't even realise you roamed out of Thistle." She tilted her head staring into the Fae's eyes. She confused her greatly but for right now it wasn't her job to dissect her. "Had we still been in Thistle I'm sure your King would've already handled my slip up and would never let me hear the end of it. I'll tell him myself at some point and time thank you. But it'll just be a casual conversation that'll just end in him being offended that was nearby and didn't come to wrestle or share our war stories. Or something."

Spade had come a long way. In the past, she might've just growled and started an argument with Aqua for no other reason than just because she was angry. And while, she was still always she had a clear hold on it. She spun on her heels and looked around her surroundings

"I'll take you back when you're ready. I'm sure you can handle yourself but rogues run in packs and I'm leaving a Raventhorn out here to fend them all off alone."
