Basic story: Hathor is one of the most important and oldest Egyptian goddesses. Originally she was sent by the god Ra to destroy humans for their sins, but had caused so much destruction and death, that the other Gods implored Ra to stop her before there was no human left to learn the lesson. Eventually she was tricked into drinking a beer dyed red, and truly a potion, which resembled blood, causing her to fall asleep. When Hathor woke, she became a completely different deity being hailed for becoming the patron of love and joy and even drunkenness. When the Gods had all been cast into hell and forgotten who they were, centuries later the Knights Templar cast a spell to bring her back to the earthen realm and in her original form of pure chaos and death. They had found a way to make Hathor a slave to do their bidding. They marched on the kingdom of Thistlemoon where the fae reside to steal their magic and Hathor rained down a terrible destruction. Years later when Cillian was older with a chip on his shoulder, he ran into the Alpha that had thrown out his mother and killed his father, challenging him to a fight. Being overly confident, he lost within a few moves of the Alpha and instead of killing Cillian, the Alpha let him go to live with his shame. Cillian and his mother were never accepted back into either of the packs and traveled as rogue lupines over the years. They blended in with humans easily enough outside of London in a small village and started to make a quiet life, but one day Cillian came home after working in the city to find his mother murdered by a lupine. Cillian tried for years to find the killer and had suspected one of the packs from their past, but he could never find the information he needed when so many were out to kill him. She was treated badly and beaten often, constantly being told that she was destined for hell and God would see to it that she burned for eternity. Colette secretly practiced her natural magic despite and found she was incredibly adept at pairing with animals to control them for a short time. When her father found out, he went into a rage which nearly cost her her life, but she was able to overpower him with the use of her magic and killed him. Her mother ran out screaming endlessly in horror and Colette turned all of her buried rage on the woman, killing her too. The mystic fled her home as not to be caught by others in the village and found her escape in England where she eventually joined the ranks of the Rogues. She's a bit awkward and standoffish, not doing well with people as she wasn't ever around others, but Devon is trying to ease her into society though some of the Rogues are wary of her and her abilities.

When she found the man, he greedily accepted to give her power in return for her soul. She agreed and signed it away. She was filled with a power (of the player choice) and went on her way to learn how to use it. He didn't want power or even to be a wolf. So when he was old enough he left his pack. Making himself a rouge because he didn't want his brother to believe he was a threat for the title of Alpha. He was separated from his pack but kept track of what was happening with them though they couldn't do the same with him. That all changed the moment he learned his wicked brother had gotten a mate. And so the prodigal son returned home. He tried to save Alex from his brother's clutches but she was pregnant before they both knew it. They tried to hide it and get her away from his brother even more before he found out he was going to be a father, but he found out as soon as she managed to escape. Roe helped stall his brother and pack from finding Alex but none of them expected Alex to be a part of the Zeta's pack. The older Quinton got though the more he saw the real man his father was. He witnessed his father beat his mother, and his mother never reacting to his actions. It wasn’t until the day his mother learned of his fathers mistress and love child did his life change forever. His mother and father were in an all out war. The ending of that war was his mothers scale removed from her. Quinton took his fathers life moments later as he breathed out a toxic gas engulfing him. As the life left his fathers eyes he moved to take the life of the love child next. Showing up on the brothel's doorstep he saw his half sister Honora at the age of thirteen being sold to a man. His anger turned to the man who was buying her and ended his life. Taking her on the run with him. He took on being Honora guardian and eventually became the best brother she could have asked for. However, there was a time in which she wasn't lucky. A desperate sanguine had crossed her path one night and despite all her training, Asha lay dying in the middle of a dark road with no one to help her. She called out to the night as her life slowly slipped away and finally there was a dark figure who offered some aid, but it was at a cost; She would get her second chance at life, yet bear the curse of living as a sanguine forever. The sanguine that had saved her seemed distant and cold and Asha could not yet come to terms with what she'd become. Once she felt strong enough to be on her own, she ran to her runaway and thus disgraced cousin, learning that she would be safe with him among the Gypsies as she tried to put her life back together.

Mostly he finds himself wandering the busy markets and other gathering places in which humans go to find a distraction from the mundane life in Thistlemoon. At the age of nine, she was caught pick pocketing from one of the wealthy nobles in town and was soon chased down by the guards. She ran onto a ship at port and hid all day and night. Having fallen asleep, Mariela woke the next day to the captain of the ship staring down at her. The ship had left the docks and was far out to sea and the captain was left wondering what to do with her. Terrified, the girl thought her life would be forfeited and even attempted to lash out at the man. The captain laughed and surprisingly decided to let the girl remain on board. The two became close as the many years went on; He being the father figure she never had and taught her all the ways of being a proper pirate. Mariela had blossomed quickly and soon was giving orders to the rest of the crew. Still, she always knew she was different from others. The sapphire scale embedded in her skin made that quite obvious.

Regardless of what his parents wanted, Kamal didn't like the life his parents had mapped out for him and instead would purposefully find every excuse to break the rules of the household. A secret academy for gifted mystics was his only true escape, even if it was another place his parents had their footing in, seeing as his family had been graduates of the place for centuries and was still donating their riches to it for continued influence. Despite his constant smart ass remarks and don't-care attitude, Kamal truly does love his magical gifts and will do anything to obtain more outlets of learning - even if that proves to be a rebellious and dangerous path.

Not much is known about Dylan's past and he tends to want to keep it that way by always swerving the conversation into the next joke. Devon is the only one who really knows why Dylan showed up one day at the inn and he keeps his secret. He's been an invaluable asset to the Rogues, is a master thief, and can handle himself well in a fight, even if his mouth is the reason to start up a friendly tavern brawl with strangers who make easy marks every now and again.

Basic story: Born on the night of the worst storm known to date Fawn was left in her fathers arms by her mother before she returned to the sea to save both of their lives. Fully aware of what Fawn was and his family being notorious supernatural hunters her father did his best to keep her safe and her species secret from them. He was honest with Fawn about their family of hunters though and even her mother telling her how they weren't just a fling but they had to break up to save each other; unaware she was pregnant with Fawn. They lived near the water for Fawn's sake and away from the rest of the Black family, Fawn's father training her to fight just like every family member would learn except the purpose was to defend herself and not hunt others like her. She grew to be an expert fighter with or without weapons eventually learning to utilise her song with her sword (or any other weapon she used, fists included). She wasn't excellent in her siren abilities though so as a teenager she got her fathers permission to leave and find her own kind and maybe her mother too to hopefully learn more about herself and what as a siren she could do. After year's of living with her kind, she discovered a body floating in the water from a shipwreck a few other sirens had caused. She meant to eat him at first but quickly spotted the mark of the house of Black on his wrist recognising the engraving in his skin because she had the same in hers. All members of the house of Black got the mark at birth so she saved him; secretly swimming him away from her fellow sirens and dragging him onto the sand of the nearest deserted island. Hawk would wake up with no memory of being saved and only a shell bracelet to help her find him later. When she returned to the sirens they knew what she had done and were set on punishing her until she explained they were cousins and he was the only other supernatural she knew about in her family. With the sirens permission, she would return to that island whenever Hawk slept to avoid being spotted and bring him food and fresh water until the sirens allowed a ship through to get him and sail away. There isn't a day that passes now where she isn't distracted wondering what the world has to offer and what other family members may be out there that are like her.

Basic story: As the youngest of the family, Wolf had certain freedoms and liberties others before didn't. He still managed to shadow his older brother Hawk and becoming very close to him until he just up and left one day without ever saying goodbye. Their parents not telling Wolf the truth about what they did with Hawk and instead, feed him lies about how Hawk betrayed his family to become supernatural. Growing up with that hatred instilled in him and the pressure of being the new first of his name with Hawk gone he became a brutal merciless hunter of supernaturals. Ultimately looking to locate and gut his brother for leaving and betraying their family. He learned the truth about Hawk from his Uncle who also told Wolf of his cousin (the uncle's daughter) Fawn who before Hawk was born a supernatural too. After forcing the truth out of his parents Wolf disowned himself and set out to search for his brother and cousin hoping to make amends and start a new era for the house of Black. While sailing in search of them he stumbled right into an assault while docked in London. Unable to ignore the screams for help he ran in to save the woman being attacked but was overpowered in the end. The woman in question ended up being a sanguine who couldn't just leave Wolf there to die after risking his life to save her. She guided him to drink her blood warning him he'd die if he didn't and telling him of the pain he was about to experience. When the sun rose the next morning the woman was gone and it didn't take long for Wolf to realise what he was now. He continues his search for his family but now also the woman who turned him, learning more about his new abilities and needs every day.

Basic story: As the war raged between the gods, Zeus did not know who he could trust. Not even his own kin. Though he was not fond of the humans that walked the Earth, threatening them was quite easy when a promise of death was laid at their feet if they chose not to do as he willed. Zeus found among them a priestess more powerful than most he had seen that could predict outcomes of the future near a temple of Sparta. Her name was Amara and he would visit her, demanding that she use her powers to tell him of the battles waging between he and the other gods. Her predictions were not always true, but eventually the ability waned the more she was forced to use it. As the world fell into chaos, Zeus became enraged at what he decided was her being useless and deceitful and imprisoned her deep below one of the temples where she would not die, but slowly began to lose her mind in the darkness below. When the war had finally ended and Zeus was banished, his power over her prison slowly melted away until Amara was able to climb her way through the rubble to freedom. She had awoken in the middle ages and vowed to gain as much power as she could so no man or god could ever harm her again, even if that meant taking over a kingdom to gain its army. Amara is ruthless if she needs to be and will kill anyone who opposes her.

Basic story: Nicola was born as many others in a time when living was not made to be easy. Her parents were simple and honest folk who scraped by in order to be able to feed their curious and inquisitive daughter. Her mother had always told her the most fantastical stories to distract her from her empty belly. Still, as Nicola grew older and understood the way the world worked for those who had nothing, she attempted to steal some food for her family on the verge of starving, but was caught. She was immediately transferred to the dungeons of a nearby fort. The soldiers there did not have her executed as so many before her for lesser crimes, but instead kept her as a cook and servant where she remained for several years. Eventually a daring attempt at escape came along with a group known as the Rogues who freed those kept in their cages. Nicola quickly made her way home only to discover it ransacked. The only possession left was the stone necklace her mother had always worn which she left in the hidden floorboard. Those who were still living in the desolate town had told Nicola her parents had died years earlier. With the necklace in hand, Nicola walked towards the forest in which her mother had always told her stories about, where magical beings remained hidden from the world. She wanted to feel close to her again in some way. Unbeknownst to her, the forest soon responded back to her presence. The barrier upon Thistlemoon immediately made her sick despite her need to press on. She eventually passed out from her efforts, but not before being seen by an inhabitant of the woods. The stone in the necklace was a beacon to him; one that he gave to a woman some thirty years ago who he loved, but could never be with. This person was Nicola's mother. The fae picked up the unconscious human who now possessed the stone and snuck her into Thistlemoon against his better judgement where later on down the road, Nicola would learn her mother's stories were true.

Basic story: Cassia is the younger sister of Graystone Raventhorn and Kyan's aunt. She has always been a mentor for her nephew and they share a close bond, the two being like one another in personality in many ways. Since the Raventhorns were the first fae family to be born of Gaia, she has been around to see the wars and fallen kingdoms of her kin across the world and to say she doesn't like humans is an understatement.  She wouldn't flinch to end a human's life if one crossed her. As with all the Raventhorns, Cassia was given a special ability from Gaia in order to keep her kind safe. She was born in the dark, the moment the moon was highest in the sky in which gravity was then bending to her will as it did with the tides. Though fae are not able to fly, she is able to do so by manipulating gravity to use with control over the air in order to make use of the wings she was born with. There are quite a few tricks she's learned over the centuries with this ability over gravity, especially when it comes to protecting her own. Cassia would always be on the battlefields with powerful aerial assaults to combat all of Thistle's enemies that dared cross their lines, despite not being as apt with the other elements. Presently, she lives in the Mapleshade with the rest of her family and acts as an advisor to Kyan. She has a commanding presence like her nephew, paired with a golden voice and a silver tongue that causes people to listen when she chooses to speak.

Basic story: Gerold had grown up in the service of a lord who like many of his station, did not treat his workers well. Born in the estate to his mother who had been sold to the lord, Gerold grew up wishing to see more beyond the walls of the massive property where he was never allowed to venture. Eventually he became a stablehand to the lord and was finally given the chance to leave when his employer would require his assistance in the local villages. The taste of freedom was all that was needed to ignite the spark within him to be free of the walls he'd known all his life. A sickness took the life of his mother not long after. She implored him to find a way out before eventually succumbing to the disease and so Gerold did. Street life was something new to him and he resorted to pickpocketing. Unfortunately, or more so fortunately, he had attempted to steal from Devon who instantly caught the young man. It wasn't long before he was brought into the Rogues.
